Born and raised in Virginia, I’ve always loved being near the water—growing up, you could almost always find me at the beach in the summer or just hanging out with friends and family. Coming from a big, close-knit family, I learned early on that life is all about connection, laughter, and making the most of every moment.
I went to university for a couple of years, but I jumped into the corporate world early and have been in that space for the last 20 years. While work has kept me busy, my true passions lie outside the office. I love vegetable gardening, making my own soap, and escaping into nature for a good hike. Traveling is a huge part of my life—whether it’s exploring new cities, sailing across open waters, or just setting off on a new adventure, I’m always up for the journey.
And when football season hits? You’ll find me cheering loud and proud—Go Commanders!

I'm laid-back guy from Virginia who loves good food, the outdoors, and spending time with family. I’ve been a butcher for almost 20 years, so food is a huge part of my life—not just cutting meat but cooking it, experimenting with new recipes, and bringing people together over a great meal.Growing up, I played just about every sport—basketball, baseball, football, soccer—you name it. These days, I still love watching a good game, but I’m just as happy being out in nature, whether it’s hiking, fishing, or just enjoying the fresh air.Travel is another big passion of mine. I love experiencing new places, trying different foods, and soaking in different cultures. But no matter where I go, family is everything to me. At the end of the day, it’s about making memories, enjoying the little moments, and just living life to the fullest.
About Us - Ash & Josh
Our story started back in high school, but life had its own plans, and we went our separate ways. Fast forward 16 years to 2020—right in the middle of the pandemic—we reconnected, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. Love came fast and naturally for us, and we’ve been building our life together ever since.
A year after reconnecting, we welcomed our son, Hunter. A year later, we made it official and got married. Two years after that, we completed our little crew with our daughter, Ava.
Our love for travel and the outdoors keeps us always searching for our next adventure, but at the heart of everything we do is family. Whether we’re exploring new places, enjoying the simple moments at home, or chasing big dreams, we’re doing it together.
